About Us

Let me introduce myself. My name is Lucy, and I live in Wiltshire with my husband and our two children. I founded Button-Up Nappies in 2003 after I had searched in vain for a cloth, pull-up nappy system for my son, who had just reached that very annoying stage where he would NOT lie down or sit still to have his nappy changed!

Our Family

I decided to make my own pull-up cloth nappies, and it was only after making some for friends who were having similar problems that the idea of setting up in business was born. The designs for my products have been through several major overhauls, as new ideas came to me and as my customers gave me feedback on how Button-Up Nappies were performing for their children. New sizes and shapes evolved, along with new fleece designs and colours of buttons! With any change though, my main aim is always for nappies and wraps of exceptional quality, with great absorbency, that are comfortable to wear, easy to wash and dry, and simple to change.

All of Button-Up Nappies products are hand made by myself. This means I can ensure consistently high quality materials, workmanship and finished products. It also means that I can offer a very personal and friendly service. I can accommodate special requests on sizing for example.
